Project: Maison Botanique Brand Identity
Brief: To create a brand identity for the concept of Maison Botanique, a luxury botanical venue.
Goals: To curate a refined type system and pair it with a heavy nature-inspired color palette with a touch of elegance.
Process: The development of this brand identity commenced with a thorough discovery phase. This involved in-depth research into the target market, analysis of competitor branding strategies, and exploration of the core values and aspirations of the brand. Following this foundational understanding, I moved into conceptualization, generating a range of visual directions through sketching and mood boarding. This iterative process allowed for the refinement of key elements, including the logo design, which focused on elegance and simplicity.
The chosen logo then informed the development of a comprehensive visual language. This included the selection of a primary and secondary color palette designed to evoke lush luxury and natural elegance. Careful consideration was given to typography, selecting typefaces that were nature-inspired and delicate and reinforced luxury while allowing readability and being easily recognizable. To ensure consistent application across various platforms, I developed visual guidelines that detailed the proper usage of the logo, color palette, typography, and supporting graphic elements. Finally, I created mockups demonstrating how the new identity would manifest across key touchpoints, such as website, stationery, and social media.

Solution: The final outcome was a full brand identity system for Maison Botanique, encompassing a refined logo, a heavy nature-inspired color palette with elegant accents, a carefully selected type system, comprehensive visual guidelines, and mockups showcasing its application across various touch points.
